This was a solo project
Design Brief: Create double sided cards profiling fonts from different categories such as Blackletter or Modern. Use these categories and choose a specific font from each to create an artistic font profile. Have the category on one side and your font choice on the other to create a set of four font type cards.
Process
My creative process was inspired by the anatomy of type itself. Spines, waist, and tails invoke visions of bone and sinew inside flesh. I applied x-ray and photogram images of organic matter to convey this idea inside the type itself.
